In life we will always have trauma and drama. At the center of said drama will most likely be people and sudden events dealing with health, financial stress and other items we didn’t see coming. When these items happen to us it is our natural reaction to respond in frustration, anger, and even more dangerously, an attitude of payback and revenge.
While these emotions and mindsets are natural reactions, I want to challenge you to respond with a supernatural reaction. The scriptures remind us that He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. Instead of responding to what’s in front of you, learn to respond to what’s inside of you. Well Alex, them is good preaching words, but you don’t understand what’s really going on in my life. You don’t understand the pain that I am silently suffering in.
Listen, a guy by the name of Joseph was sold into slavery by his own family, wasn’t able to attend the funeral of his own mother, was falsely accused of raping a woman, was looked over by the courts when he was up for probation, and only eating one meal a day in prison, I’m sure his health started to decline. Listen to his response to his brothers. He says, “But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good..” My friends, let me ask you a question, the drama and trauma that you are going through, could it be that the One who sits in the highest of heavens is using what you are going through for your good. And not just for your good, but for others as well?
My friends, I believe God has an intended purpose for your pain, a strategy for your struggle, and a miracle for your misery. Instead of trying to payback someone evil for evil, allow the God in you to respond with wisdom and power. The scriptures says it like this, “Good understanding gains favor, but the way of the unfaithful is hard.” Be faithful to the voice inside of you. God always desires to lead you in the right path. When you understand the leading and guiding of the Spirit within you, that is when you will see favor, breakthrough and even those that don’t like you will start doing things to help you. Not because they suddenly like you, but because He who is in you is directing your path.
My friends, let me encourage you. God says that I know the plans that I have for you. I have plans to prosper you and not to harm you. I have plans to give you a a future and to bring you into an expected end. Your current situation is not your expected end. Your current situation is another chapter in your book of testimonies. Trust He who is in you and at the proper time, you will see doors open, have favorable opportunities to prosper, and watch when I tell you, God will reveal Himself to you in a much Greater way!
